Dr. Tony Alessandra rose from humble beginnings in New York City’s housing projects to become a celebrated marketing professor, internet entrepreneur, and best-selling author. He holds a BBA from Notre Dame, an MBA from the University of Connecticut, and a PhD in Marketing from Georgia State University (1976). After teaching at the university level, he transitioned full-time into professional speaking and consulting, blending academic rigor with a vibrant stage presence—“college lectures in a comedy club format”—aimed at boosting rapport, sales, and workplace relationships.
He is the founder and CEO of Assessments 24×7, pioneering online tools like DISC, Motivators, and emotional intelligence profiles.
