She served from 2008-2013 as the editor-in-chief of Health Affairs, the nation’s leading journal of health policy. Ms. Dentzer also previously led the NewsHour’s health unit, reporting extensively on-air about health care reform debates. On August 24, 2010, at 4:00 AM, surrounded by a community of supporters, Bruckner Chase embarked on a 25-mile marathon swim to connect Santa Cruz to Monterey while also binding those on land with the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
