In accordance with a resolution passed by the United States Senate, June is National Internet Safety Month. New research that shows that Americans are significantly more concerned about nearly all aspects of their security compared to six months ago, with the biggest increase being centered on internet security.

Internet safety should be on our minds at all times. But with so many aspects of our lives largely played out online these days, it’s very easy to take many of our actions for granted. This is particularly true if you’ve been one of the lucky few who hasn’t had any issues with compromised passwords or identity theft. According to the Federal Trade Commission, identity theft tops the list of consumer complaints for the 11th consecutive year.

Online safety is everyone's responsibility.
